Dextrin glue is a water-based adhesive made of dextrin which is a low-molecular-weight polymeric carbohydrate produced by starch hydrolysis.Heating dextrin in water to 90°C creates a glue solution that can be easily altered for desired fluidity, open time, color, and other characteristics.White dextrins and canary or yellow dextrins are the two primary forms of dextrin glues. Dextrin glues have smooth machining qualities and are used for board lining, laminating paper corner board and cardboard roll production, and other applications.
